SMS Opt-In & Consent

BDS Content Server is a product of CITROOT LLC. This page describes exactly how you opt in to text messages from us, what those messages are, and how to stop them. It documents the consent flow for our messaging program.
What messages we send
The only SMS we send is a one-time verification code, used to confirm that you control the mobile number you provide. This is account-verification (2FA-style) messaging only. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never send texts about sales, offers, or product news.

Your BDS Content Server verification code is 123456. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
How you opt in
Opt-in is user-initiated and specific to text messages — it is separate from email, and providing a phone number is optional. You opt in by providing your own mobile number and requesting a verification code by SMS:
- Open app-test.bdscont.com and choose Get Started, or open your profile in the portal.
- Enter your details and — optionally — your mobile number. The SMS consent disclosure below is shown once you enter a mobile number.
- Submit the form. Providing a mobile number and continuing is your opt-in. We then send one verification code by SMS to the number you provided.
- Enter the code to verify your mobile number.
Providing a mobile number is optional — email verification, Google sign-in, and Apple sign-in are always available instead, and app-based two-factor authentication (TOTP) does not use SMS at all. SMS consent is never required to use BDS Content Server.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service, and this SMS opt-in is specific to text messages — it is not bundled with email or any other consent.
Message frequency & rates
Message frequency varies and is tied to your own actions — typically one verification code per signup or sign-in attempt. Standard message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact support@bdscont.com.
- You can also remove your mobile number from your profile in the portal at any time.
- Opting out of text messages never affects your account or your access to the Service.
Privacy
Your phone number and opt-in data will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing, lead generation, or third-party analytics purposes. We share your number only with the messaging provider that delivers the text on our behalf. Consent decisions (opt-in and opt-out) are recorded with a timestamp for audit purposes.
